Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an analysis of the potential environmental impacts of a product, process or service throughout its entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to waste or recycling.

The analysis is carried out based on ISO 14040/14044, taking into account multiple factors including resource consumption, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, environmental impacts such as global warming, eutrophication, acidification, ozone depletion, etc.

Through life cycle assessment, organizations can better understand and reduce their environmental impact and use this information to inform consumers about the sustainability of their products, processes or services.

Life cycle assessment can be carried out by the manufacturer itself (internally) or with the help of a consultant with experience in LCA and EPD, such as "Eco Standard Consult" EOOD.
